  • How do I join the Studio?

    The first step is to contact the Studio and ask for an Application Form. We are dedicated to supporting you throughout your retail journey. Our team is committed to your success and will go the extra mile to educate customers about your story and unique products with the goal of helping you achieve your sales objectives.

  • What is the Commission Fee?

    The Commission Fee of 35% of the gross sales price of each of your items, ensures that you receive 65% of the sales revenue.

    Payments are issued via e-transfer to the email on or before the 7th day of the following month. If your total sales, less the studio commission fee, is under $10.00, we will email you with your sales statement and roll the amount over to the next month of sales or pay out on account close.

  • How does the Studio promote Artists & Artisans?

    We continually invest in a range of promotional and marketing efforts. Our dedicated team is driven and creative, constantly exploring new strategies to expand our reach and connect with new customers and collectors, both locally and beyond.

    Our location, in the heart of Kelowna’s Arts and Cultural District, naturally attracts steady foot traffic, enhancing visibility and creating sales opportunities for our members.

    Since opening in November 2023, Studio On Water has built a devoted customer base that not only returns regularly but also brings friends and family, helping to spread the word and fuel our growing reputation.

    We have a dedicated social media manager who curates our Instagram and Facebook pages, highlighting new arrivals, artist stories, behind-the-scenes content, and upcoming events. As a member, your work may be featured in these posts, providing you with increased visibility and the chance to connect with a broader audience.

    We leverage local platforms such as Castanet, Tourism Kelowna, and the Rotary Centre for the Arts to promote our events and announcements, ensuring we connect with our community and broader, diverse audience. Our Google Business Profile enhances our online presence, making it easier for customers to discover us while strengthening our reputation through positive reviews.

  • How long have you been open?

    On October 31st, 2024, we celebrated our first year in business!

  • Is the Studio accessible?

    Yes, the studio is committed to a barrier-free community and has included an accessibility ramp and room for movement.

  • Do you have payment plans?

    Yes, we believe art should be available and affordable to all people. We simply take the total price of the artwork, including taxes, less your deposit and then divide the balance over 2-3 months. The art stays here at the gallery until it is paid off.
