Christiane Slater is a wife, mother, artist, adventurer and freedom lover. She grew up in East Africa, the East of England and Fiji. Travelling and meeting people in different cultures has been a large part of her education. She’s been in front or behind a camera for a large part of her life and 15 years ago she started making photographic cards to sell and give as gifts. In 2016 she settled in the beautiful Okanagan Valley, became a Canadian citizen in 2022, and feels blessed to now call Kelowna her home. As her son gets older and heads off soon to experience his own adventures she has begun to establish her own small business selling imagery – framed, on canvases, metal, matted or via a simple greeting or postcard.
