Steve was born and raised in Northern Ontario, then lived and worked in Alberta, where he also obtained an Honours English degree at the University of Alberta. He is now happily retired in the beautiful Okanagan Valley.
In 2015, Steve self-published his graphic novel adaptation of Charles Dickens’ timeless story: A Christmas Carol. Drawn and inked over a four-year period, Steve’s graphic novel expresses his love of classic literature and illustration. The novel was printed in Kelowna on quality sourced paper and hand bound using an ancient Japanese stab binding technique. It is a limited-edition work comprised of 400 copies, many of which have been sold internationally.
Steve has also painted many works in watercolour and ink over the years, but these days he prefers to play his beloved Martin guitar.
